Happy Birthday Parker

Nothing gives me greater joy like spending time with my grandsons. My oldest just celebrated his 6th birthday. He had one request for Nana, make him an army truck cake. Yikes!! Now, I think I am pretty good at a lot of things, even cooking! Cake decorating, however, is not my knack.

Oh, I give it a shot every year. I have done monster jam and the minions and they turned out pretty good. It seems with my oldest though, every year he tries to outdo the prior, and the cakes seem to be getting harder!!

Who I am to tell this precious boy no? So after hours of baking and mixing icing, the end result was an army truck cake and 52 camo cupcakes!

I think the smile says it all!!
